Just bought a Fiesta RS Turbo

Im not picking it up til next week. Its a bit chavy and needs some love, but I got it off a friend of a friend and I've known the car for a few years. Enginewise is sound. But......................

It has a flushed boot

So, ill be on the look out for Mercury grey STANDARD, bonnet, boot, doors and standard 3 spoke wheels. It has a set of Series 1 wheels available for a swap with 3 spokes

Anyone on here a had a fezza turbo before? Any tips for modding? Really i want it looking standard but nice and low. I'd like it quite quick too, but not looking to throw money at it. Hints and tips people!

gearbox should be fine, one by us that was T3 converted with beige injectors with around 210, and that lasted 4 years and was still going strong when sold. Clutch was another matter though, that had to be uprated.

the only problem with that age of festa now is rot - cills, rear arches, battery box, filler neck, windscreen seal. they did just rot well. also rear anti roll bar links - only used to last about 6 months and then break. only cheap and easy to replace. really nice steering wheel though - although its in grey not black.

heres a few pics of mine, really miss it as everything had been done, they are great fun and i would have another if i could,but had to strip it as it was worth loads more in bits, it was to fund the escos itch.

mine drove at its best on 195 superchips chip, beiges, fuel pump, piper cam, T2 hybrid 15psi held great fun i had a msd chip on after it was madded further and it was a heap of shit would not recommend it
