Has anyone got a picture of where the steering column goes through the bulk head? I seem to have the triangular shaped column (10x10x10mm) going through an elongated hole about 40x25mm. Looks proper dodgy....could be why my steering is so sh1t. Should there be a bearing or gromit or something there?

it should have a rubber ring i think on the engine side with a metal cover on it on the bulk head. then theres a plastic bush on the triangle column that slides into all that, if my steering wheel is moved on the adjuster the bush comes out and i have to push it back inbit of a shit design so i just never move it

in the bulkhead hole you should have
big rubber grommit, inside this is a plastic ring then inside this is a plastic cylinder with a trangle in middle for coloum to sit in, take a look in engine bay to see if you have pushed the sterring colom to far and push the grommit out lol
a complete bush kit is about £5 from ford
