yeah thats right , but bonkers car did,nt have that plate on the car when he bought it iirc he had to get it put on that plate

from what i can remember bonkers bought his one from jeff windsor and it was in perfect condition and on a plate ending DYT iirc , reason i know this as my friend bought jeffs escort at the same time he had the s1 .

the one thats on pistonheads (tony fullers) i,m sure was in need of resto as iirc the pics of it that were in rallye news showed it on a trailer and it said something along the lines of there were ment to be 2 black s1,s for princess diana and it had a flag or something similar on the quarter panel too

Bonkers car is Diana's this was never registered to her but always to FMC, was on plate C462 FHK then changed to C515 DYT once sold, it has now been changed back to the original.

Tony Fullers car B444 AAR was used by Prince Micheal of Kent hence the royal connection. As far as I know he asked for the 16I seats and the engine to be uprated.

The frog I don't know why it's on tonys bonnet but I do know that there was a frog connection with Diana. (The frog princess).

Both these cars cars were painted black from day one by Ford.

Mine C973 HAR was originally White but then taken back and painted Black by Ford in 1986 whilst they still owned it, Why it was done I don't know but I'm still trying to find out. My engine also has uprated internals !!!
