The Gaz Gold are set up for just track use, so give a filling rattling ride, the BADs are set up for fast road / occasiional track use, so give a good ride / handling compromise.

You'd be better off buying decent stuff, like Bilstein. You can get everything for around £2K new, cheaper again if you don't go for magnesium rear dampers.
Driven 2 cars with BAD stuff and didn't rate them at all. (2 ways and the 3 way jobs)

can you adjust the dampers on bilstein and does 2k get 3 way adjustables?
A well respected rally man here had this to say about the BAD stuff - "what a set of the 3 way BAD cost doesn't even buy you one corner of proper 3 way stuff. I'd never really though about it like that before he said it lol.
The bilsteins i'm talking about use group a inserts in group n bodies (fit the standard hubs), coilover rears and aren't adjustable (apart from height). However with the right inserts/spring chosen at the start you'd never really need to adjust them anyway. You can get non mag rears which cuts the cost a lot as i think they are something like £300 each!
If i was you i'd stay with what you have, well maybe take advice on different poundage springs if you think they need it.

You can say that about anything - the more money you pay, the better it gets . For the money, I'd stick with the 2-way BAD. 3 way stuff takes a LOT of time to set up.
