oil in bell housing?

Would oil in bell housing be a sign of rear crank seal as i just took engine out to find it soaking in there havnt took clutch off yet but would explain my loss of oil lol think I've broke my knuckle aswell :-(

Get the clutch off and check behind it

Rear crank seal would be top of the list Rich.

What's going on with the knuckle

Did you land a right hook on the car when you found the leak

Flywheel off rear crank seal bit also found my sump half moon gasket lol knuckle smacked on something undoing gearbox bolts and bolts rounded in front prop so had to take prop with engine mission should of just dropped the box but car will be ready tomorrow to say goodbye Saturday now engine is out

Mine has a slight weep behind there too, expecting crank seal or a leak where the sump meets the block.

I don't have to top mine up between 5k oil changes so i'm leaving it well alone until it gets worse, which could be a while seeing as its got now worse in the last 5 years.

i was losing a lot, but there were no oil leaks on front of engine or underside after i fixed them and cleaned it up, was proper soaking in the gearbox lol
