    here's a link to a 7.5ffd, with cross shaft sump etc...

        Unfortunatly these only run 3.9 or 4.4 ratio as does the 8.5"

        I am running 3.6, which means I would also have the expense of doing the drop gears

        Although not too sure on that cost

          It would mean more than that, you would have to change the gears as well, as you'd be on the limiter in top at the fast circuits with a drop in gearing, so you'd have to increase 5 and 6th to compensate.

            Not just increase 5/6th mike, different input ratio would be the way to go so all the gears are bumped up to suit the lower ratio diffs.

                    Input ratio is 1050 plus fitting
