External wastegate exhaust return ??

Is there any other ways to gate the wastegate off somewhere else other than the exhaust down pipe?
Can it go to atmosphere, or does this become very loud?

Very loud dave can run a separate pipe under the car with a silencer but would have to check noise on full chat

Dave mine goes strait to atmosphere via screamer pipe wot exits down by arb and its loud on full chat. i think if mine went on track they wud chuck me strait off, but it sounds well

Does it not matter where it goes on the exhaust?

Do you see any issue if I bring my collector up nearer the turbo as I want to split my 5" downpipe into 2 x 2.5" pipes nearer the turbo?

3.5inch downpipe is all you need.

If you are dividing a downpipe from shortly after the turbo I cant see putting it in to one of the pipes being a problem,

Venting direct to atmosphere will be far to loud for you to compete with next year Dave, and you will get sick of the noise on full throttle all of the time.
