Anyone else updated their iphones to use the ios5 and now it won't work?

Mine has updated, but it won't activate. It says there is no SIM in it. Bloody thing

Has yours been previously jailbroken? Have you changed the base band at any point?

Mine keeps coming up with a transfer error, I'm sure its a problem with my charger cable so going to try my one at home the weekend.

Mine has updated. I can see the new software but it won't get a signal.

I'm just trying a jailbreak now to see if that helps!!

I updated it ok. I've even jailbroke it again. But still won't pick up a signal.
I can only think they have done something on purpose to make previously Jailbroken phones to fail.
This basically leaves you with an itouch

Yep, my phone is fooked, it's been down since I did it aswell.
Shows I have reception but won't make or recieved calls, has no 3G and all apps open.... And then close again

I'll have another look at it all again in a while, as I've just got home.
