Get plenty of tips (think that's the name) as practicing you will touch plenty of times and forever be grinding the ends up

Got a good lad to do the actual welding, but he has trouble borrowing the kit from his work

My mate has one he was trying to sell a while back, sat in the back of his garage, its a little one and new, will try find out more info on it.

It is a fan cooled Fimer pocket 130s, For those of you that dont know Fimer is a good make and not any of this cheap stuff thats kicking about.
I have a mig welder so its never used as you can see by the pictures. It comes with a few tungsten electrodes, a new pack of welding rods and regulator.

From his AD a while ago.

I've had a couple of Tigs, still got a Clarke tig 200 its been very reliable, which is more than i can say about the 280 i had,

but if i was buying again today, I'd get an inverter ac/dc tig.

But it all depends on what are you mainly going to weld. for best advice, i would go to this place and to the forum: http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/

What are you going to be welding? if its just a few jobs then get it contracted out, if its for customers then get best you can for your budget. Keep clear of the china ones.

Depends on your budget,Parweld AC/DC is good value for money,IFL 200 AC/DC is best if you are serious about doing job.I run my own welding eqipment supply company pm me if you require any advice (not all China ones are bad,but can look similar) Alan

Phone Kevin from Elmdale Welding services on 01502 562 230 (tell him I sent you) and have a chat with him, he will point you in the right direction (and they deliver as well).

I bought a Giant Tig earlier in the year 300w inverter AC/DC from Ebay and once a new foot pedal had been sent as the one that came with it didnt work no probs at all.
