8greens or 83lb injectors which is best for 500hp?
Looks like il be sticking to 83's if iv got to buy another ecu! I was under the impression an l8 with backup board could run 8 injectors,as the extra board has more parameters for extras?
A lot of people like running the 8, as you get more time for fuel to mix when the bellmouth injectors come in, apparently some people had problems with fuel drop-out once running mental (think over 600Bhp) power, as so much fuel is being injected in one spot, it fails to atomise & droplets of fuel hit the plenum still as a liquid.... However, if you having that problem, I want a go in your car!

you are touching some of the theoretical issues which apply well to high rmp normally aspirated f1 engines , these theoretical issues get thrown into the bin when we obtain our power with a huge turbo ,over size injectors work better on the yb as 4 or 8 at 500 bhp + .
8 old bosh 403 grey injectors works better than 8 greens at 450+ torques
weber ecu's can still be converted to 8 injector but at a cost of around £500
when converting weber l6 and l8 ecu's to 8injector and wasted spark one has to consider the cost compared to buying an after market ecu

Think il be sticking to the 83's then. Iv just spent out on having a coil pack board fitted so don't fancy spending more on my ecu again this time round!
