  • 200 mph at Brunters

Just had my first day at running my modded 911 at Brunters, made 200 MPH GPS.
Now awaiting Ken at Nine excellence to number crunch and send me the Pbox photos and durametric logs.
it would seem 0-60 is sub 3 seconds, 0-100 in around 6.2 and 0-300 kph in 28 seconds. At Brunters that equivalent to around the 25/26 second mark.
Will post more when I get the final results, but no need to say I'm like a Pig is $hit.

                        cheers all, yes still buzzing.
Jimbo, yes still quite comfortable, the new PSS10's are fantastic.
Bullett, Rolls, coz im worthit, & karl, so cossie & RS escorts. Thanks
                        Escosgas, I'm over the moon
Cochyn, this is the best part about the K16 development turbos. they are flowing the same air as K24/18g's. They are not even choking on the turbine side at 300kph.

I have a Greedy EBC and set the set boost to 85%, gain to 7% and set gain to zero..
From the top of my head( figures to be confirmed) my IAT's were 55degC with 1.49bar boost. Fuel used 99VPower.
Were thinking, although numbers need to be crunched, that the HP is about 650 ( conservative) as it runs similar times to the 700 bhp K24/18g cars.
We had a 997tt 3.8 720 bhp car , a 700 bhp K24/18g car, a K24/20 800 bhp car to run against and compare times as well to level out track conditions and compare my times too.
Looks like i need bigger brakes, had the smoking after one of the 200 mph runs. I got in about 20 runs at max throttle.
A journalist form 911 Porsche uK world mag was there and is doing a feature on the day.
Again its still to be confirmed but we believe no UK K16 911 has ever done 200 mph in the given distance of brunters.

Thanks, the amazing thing is it drives no differently, but has amazing pull form 2500 rpm to the red line.
the Turbos are ultra new and have been developed specifically for my car, with a view for Nine Excellence to start selling the kit. As I said numbers still have to be crunched. I hope to post a few pictures of the data and also of the day if the mag will let me.
