It's a tough call Martin, breaking a car isn't for everyone, and it's far to easy to add up what you think everything should see you as a return and then see it as an easy route to getting money in, but it can take a while for everything to sell and the money to come in.
Plus you will need the space to store everything as you take the car apart, you will be shocked how much more space is taken up with the car in bits!
Unfortunately from a breaking point of view the parts don't fetch the same prices that they once did.

Surely putting an MOT on the car and advertising it at a realistic price would be a safer bet for a quick return.

To now sound like a vulture, I'd be interested in the wheels if you do break, or opt to put something different on there to sell it.

you could sell uprated parts and get the standard parts in p/x, then sell it on complete.

            Dave.

It's a good shout from Dave, and exactly what I did with my FRS.

                    Probs with that is

1, getting good condition parts in p/x
2, the car is worth less when you sell so what you gain you lose later
                    3, the hassle

good points Paul, but if the car is cheaper it may sell quicker.
