Mate of mine Chris drives for Top Gear at these shows think the Focus is about the only thing he doesnt drive in the show though
He was telling me about Derek Bells crash also

yeah it was a shame i saw derek coming round corner and it looked out of control 550bhp if i remember i thought he was going to back off but seem not to plus lefthand drive i say he never saw tyres


glad he was ok and no one got hurt

Havent seen the show tbh just know about from what Chris has told me
Hes one of six drivers they contract out
Great job as he gets to drive some very special cars doing a job he loves and getting
well paid for it

was hopping to see you on friday when i was there

Bit of a shame they didnt run the FRS & ESCCOS everyday.

Didnt understand why really as we are in ford country and both cars look great compared to the cars they used instead. It goes to show that the people in charge of production don't get it right where it counts. They changed the setup daily and in the end had to finish the show with my pal bagsy in the drifting as it was a better end to the show than the stig drifting


At one point i went on to the vista of the drivers area for a smoke and walked all the way along the edge untill i couldn't go any further.... Then witnessed the stig removing his race suit and lid behind a glass window. It was just getting dark outside so dont think they spotted me. before you ask i dont know who he was although i keep looking at various young race drivers pics to figure it out.

no he went out in other cars instead. Something he could handle better. A fiat500

Chris evans didnt do much better, he went into the tyre wall backwards and messed a Kia up
