i say sell your small van ben, buy a 350 lwb transit van, you still only need to tax and insure 1 work van.

    buy a brianjames trailer .

a flat bed is crap , you will have trouble getting a low car up the ramps, un less its a bever tail body, then the other problem is haveing room for spairs .

i had a lorry made to carry cars and even it was tight , here is a photo, there also was a set of 2mt ramps folded of the rear door .

i sold it and used a brianjames race shuttle. it sat low to the ground and with its 2.5 mt ramps the car went on with not a problem.

p.s people some times run there escorts far to low, if the suspenion is to low , you may not get the proper suspenion travel .

i got digs ref my car looked high , but it was set for the suspenion to work proper .

    thanks steven

Steve I said that, with wrc geometry you can run the car reasonably low. Look at the late tarmac wry cars they were run low, as the hubs, tca,s crossmeber, and shocks were all designed for this.

If you car was on gravel stuff I can understand it being a touch higher, its also to take some of the angle off the driveshafts

Cheers for all the info guys had a measure up at mikes thisarvo and 13ft would be the limit 15ft ideal with the back bumper not overhanging either, going to have a look whats abotu and have a good think about it...

so what you saying jim you dont want the car low or you do? Kenny has been kind enough to let me know what he was running on his car with the 17s on as thats what im having on the car... it will be a front bumper off job for putting the car on and off anyway...
