throttel sticking on with als

mates escos has anti lag fitted, wen the als is activated and the car gets sum abuse the throttel sticks on full chat, revs stay there until als is swichet off, but its fine wen drove steady. . had valve out checke and cleaned but still does it.
any body had this probelm or advice on wot to check next.
goin to try my als valve in there 2morow to see if its the valve at fault as the car is a bit dangerous to drive the way it is.

had the same prob on mine just lived with it for the amount of time i had it on, i could never find out what was wrong but as i knew i was changing my spec i just left it be... sorry i cant be of more help

good to know this isnt the 1st one then fella but carnt live with this cos its dangerus and it isnt even my car but getn on my tits now, my car has als and is fine.
who done your als mate?

on stand still it was fine and if you was driving slow it was fine as soon as i was on track or giving it some the car would pull and pull i didnt mind as i was on the throttle a lot anyway and like i said at low speed or sitting in traffic it was fine SCS fitted it all up for me

I've the same problem when als is switched on the revs are high on tickover,i had mine fit at msd and they've told me it only needs a new idle control valve,seen them on ebay modded for als for £85 posted

I had my ISCV checked and it was fine...

thanks ben i was goin to and shud of said this car is purely a road car
its also an scs set up but carnt carry on like this on roads or will end in tears, carnt understand why its doing it, a possibility of something getting jammed wen on full boost?
either way it needs fixing.
and cheers abes this one like mine aswell does not idle from cold, the coldstart is non existant but idles ok once car is at temperature, also these als valves are modified diffrently th the way msd do them. the msd valve just gets holes drilled into it were these ones have machined part fitted.cheers.

gaz is yours running greys and an off the shelf chip? as that was how my car was setup like i said just as a cheap fix for what i wanted until i had a bigger/better engine spec built...

no ben i went full hog with mine its a fully rebuilt and bench mapped harvey set up makin 550, external gated gt turbo, siemens blacks etc.
my mates car wich sticks on full chat is also mapped properly on seimens injectors.
will try my als valve in it 2morow to see if it can eliminate the problem.
