they are heavy cars & weight is the enemy of the 1/4 mile the nail was around 1 tone & best 1/4 wenny got in it was 11.58 with a 60ft of 1.6sec

the van had less than 400bhp
yum had somewhere near 600bhp i think & couldnt beat the nail

think that had something to do with being scared to launch it though as the terminal speed was much better

my 320bhp one years ago done 12.99 ive never put anymore up in trim form etc
my raoyal nail van done 11.53 with arround 410bhp and my mk3 done 11.50 with 450bhp but should be on the 10`s this year

i done 11.9 @116mph with maybe 500bhp (still need rolling road) stage 3 i did a 12.7

my 16i did it in 14.1 but was doing 114mph when i went past the line, which i think is bloody good.

I'll soon find out what my escort will do with around 370 by the time the season starts. My 4x4 saff managed a 12.2 @ about 120 two years ago with 450 bhp, never did beat it.

Focus was my mates one running about 340bhp as it had gt28,cams,head work, ect, ect and was a nice fast road car just not fast enouth

Light blues are one step down from greys and the escort was running around the 400bhp mark as it made 412bhp on the dyno at scs

well it should be the escorts but it all depends on what turns up on the day as you can 100% count on the focus lads beeing there and they will put up a good fight as most will be knocking on the door of 300bhp or just over and then there will be others above 350bhp but i dont think any of the 400 + focus`s will be there but then again they might be, so the escort lads need to have there act together or they could end up with egg on there face as dont under estimate them
