  • help with p8 ecu please !!

Cut a Long story short, my p8 ecu suffered some damage when a Well known person supplied me a new engine loom that wasn't wired correctly!! ( who has since paid for a replacement one) I believe its blown a resistor on the board to do with pin 10 of the ecu. I have had another known person on here to supposedly repair it which cost me 200 quid, but when I opend it up it hasn't been touched!! And still does the same when connected to the car!! And now I can't get hold of him so I'm 200 quid down and stuck with a useless p8 so what would you do? Sell it as is or ?? P.s it was the isv wires were reversed that's what caused the damage.
New project on !! Another Cosworth coming soon!!

I don't Like name dropping but as a clue ( he used to work at abc motorsport then enhanced performance ) it annoying cos he kept saying he'd sort it out then when I wanted the money back or it sorted out he won't answer ny calls or txts now

He fucked my Ecu too. Tried blaming everyone else. An absolute cowboy ripped me off some other bits also. Hope it's true what they say what goes around comes around. As you say no idea where he is etc now as he's moved on.

If you need one in a hurry I have a spare here with a stage 3 chip, I was selling it but you are welcome to use it until... It was repaired but works fine, tested it on a mate's car.
