  • General Question - Who runs extra gauges?

Anyone run extra gauges in addition to the original ones, and what did you go for? I'm thinking of the dial colour particularly thinking about the colour of the standard clocks. And have you put them in the centre console or pillar pod. And what do you think of the quality?

Anyone that's got pics they would be appreciated, or vids would be even better.
    Cheers
    Trev.

I think in this day and age, something like a IECs or colins/pectel monitor is the best modern solution.

realistically you cant look at all the guages all the time so your better off with a configuarable display unit with alarms and such like to tell you when somethings not right, even if your distracted elsewhere like looking at the road

Also takes up much less space. Even with smallish guages, by the time youve got oil temp and pressure, ect, act, batt, boost etc etc etc youve got a lot of dials.

                      Medically Discharged!! Officially insane!!!

I didn't get one in the end George, that's a thought though....my only real issue was my car doesn't have aircon so I could use all the vents I can get.

Auto meter ultra lights match the standard dash very nicely IMHO..
