  • Heat Shield help

Hi guys. The sound deadening pad that goes under my bonnet lid has been burnt by my turbo's excessive heat.

I've got hold of another one and want to put some kind of heat reflective material on it to prevent this happening again. I've seen a few self adhesive items that say they will stick to any surface but will it stick to the sound deadening pad?

Have any of you done something similar? (If so, pics please.)

Or can you suggest the best material / company to use?

Any help as always is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks....Paul.

I used the heat reflective part off a Sapphire under bonnet pad & just cut it to shape.

It's held on with 3M spray glue

My Saph has one already fitted to the under-bonnet sound deadening, so would just use something similar.
