When you consider how old and the size of a Cosworth engine its quite amazing how much power is available from them .

For a 2.1/2.2 l engine they're awesome really. What size engine is your Porsche frank?

The 625lbft engine I mentioned above was quite respectably responsive, pulling full boost of 2.3 bar on the dyno at 4k and rev to 8-8.5

Its a 3.6 flat 6 Jim and will be running 2 turbos similar in size to a GT30. \the fact its doing that on 1.6 bar and Im sure its still a standard engine with just bolt on mods shows how strong the GT1 engine is.

Amazing bit of kit really. Porsche engine have always been brilliant. Were doing a turbo 944 engine.

2.7l with 16v head looking for around 600bhp, bottom end is bullet proof with a girdled bottom end, nice head etc makes getting the power very easy

Did I read somewhere that your dad started of tuning Porsches years ago Jim ?
I still think they will become the next big car over here to tune as there huge in the states and prices are dropping still. You could have a bullet proof 550/500 car for under 25K.
