10 Years today

10 years ago today I bought my Escort Cosworth, 22 02 2002.
Looks cool on the logbook, although I didn't even notice till I had owned it for about 5 years.
I always wanted one, but never imagined still owning it 10 years later.
I only planned on keeping it a year or 2, then get an E36 M3 Convertible.
At the time the E46 was too new and too expensive, I drove the E36 but the cossie was more fun.
So here it is, 10 years later. Still taking what feels like a constant flow of money from me.
I could've had a Ferrari instead with what it's cost the last 10 years.
Although I can't image it would've been half as much fun as the Cossie.
I just wish it had been on the road more the last 10 years.
I haven't even drove it since Sept 2010, although hopefully that will change shortly.
Mark (Cossiecrazy) will be working his magic soon and making it nice and Shiny.

In the days of my first one i had a lot more disposable income as i didn't used to dick about with that one............... this site has a 'lot' to answer for

Plan is just to get it back together. While it's been in pieces my Bara box has been re-built, I have a Quaife diff from Kelv, my beam has been modded by SCS, I've a Hart plenum, bigger rad etc etc should be a different car.

Jules you're not wrong, owning my car 10 years has got me in constant stick with her in doors.
I totally forgot our 5 year anniversary the other day, but the day I bought my car is etched in there! ha ha

12 years for me with the Small turbo Imperial blue.1998 - 2010.
Then bought a Pacifica blue large turbo 7 years ago,which is now Polaris and still keeping me busy & skint (2005 - present day)

And it still puts a smile on my face every time i drive it.
even when it breaks
