  • Engine Abreviations & Applications

Few of us talking shit last night over a bum burner and it turns out that a few of my mates didn't know (or just couldn't remember ) what BDA and BDG stood for

Obviously relentless piss take was immediate aimed mainly at the 50 year old who has a grp4 escort and the young lad who's an apprentice at a group B rally prep place

Eventually though, the convo developed into what other engines were in Fords; BDT, BDJ, YB, YBP, siamese crossflow etc etc. So...what engine abbreviations and applications do you know

I thought it was name them lol.

Monster is about right (or might be bang on I thought the a was assembly but maybe a series!)

              Bd belt driven.
              a assembly
And all the other bd range were the same, just derivitives (sp) of the belt driven engine.
              T turbo
              TE turbo evolution

Not, Fvc and dfv I can't remember now
