Can anyone get/check my stereo code please.

Hi guys, I've got one of those Sony 6 Disc CD players in my Mondeo and to my knowledge it's never been out of the car or recoded and I've recently had the battery off, reconnected it, tried the code that's stamped in the book and it says its not that. I think I've only got one more go before it locks out so could anyone help me with the code.

The book says the serial number is M026501 and the code should be 1442, but it doesn't like it.

Trev, it was 1442 from the factory mate - you can change them though so it may have been

whip it out it may not be the orig stereo??

make sure the radio fitted has that m no if not put up the one off the radio i can get the code for you
