  • Rota wheels

Just come across the ROTA shop and there are three options of wheels available to fit the Escos listed.

Any one have any pics of different ROTA's fitted

Granted these are out and out suited to Jap cars but would be nice to know if they could do a 4 stud version,

    these are 9 x 19 ET20

that is a nice wheel, ive seen a few on the MK2 FRS aswell.
but with the ofset required to suit the FRS it looses the dished effect and doesnt have quite the same appeal in my opinion

I had those wheels on my evo IX, really suit the evos but not too sure what they would look like on an escos, you have to have the 9" wide ones though to get the deep sish look otherwise they look rubbish.

Whats the drift series all about with these then

Are they lighter than a std one maybe.

Drift series is just a name used for the wider Rota wheels

You've seen this thread about these wheels?

Yes Jan, I was wondering if any other styles were available to us.

                  Kinda like them all really.

But when kelv mentioned the weight I wondered if the Drifters were maybe lighter

But there is nothing in the write up.

Seems like a decent amount of hackers for what you get

I wanted the GTR's for mine!! Tried them on an escos on Forza. I think they look evil! They've gotta be deep though otherwise they're just a normal 5 spoke wheel. 9x18" and not sure what offset but they need to sit right up level with the arches. Nicely stretched tyres............ And done! Lol

There is only one style available in 4x108 ET20, the others are 5x108 for mk2 FRS and Mondeos.
I see they've used the wrong pictures on the website in your first link too, they show the Grid in 2 pictures which should have been Force.

What do you mean lighter? Compared to what? The Force in 9x18" is lighter than a 9x18" Compomotive MO

I thought these wheels were exclusively available from cossymad/Wheelsnthings.com and Mike though? Mike? Chris? Are you reading this?

They would have to be 9,5x18" with the correct offset to give you that look, most likely meaning modified arches But I agree, it would look awesome

If they were available trust me id get the arches done, I asked Rainbird about the GTR's almost 18months ago I've always wanted them on a car lol. Just didn't wanna buy a jap car to put them on ;-)

If you want them badly enough I'm sure someone like MK Motorsport can make you new hubs with the correct PCD to fit them
