  • Fuel pump question ?

Hi after my experience at santa pod , i have decided to change my fuel pump ( i put an uprated walbro pump in about 7 years ago ) .
The question i have is , my friend has a brand new walbro pump for a subaru impreza
model number ITP-160 fuel flow rate 255 litres per hour.
The escort cosworth looks the same model number ITP-048 fuel flow rate 255 litres per hour.
Would there be a problem fitting the subaru one ( if it fits) as the flow rate is the same .

this will then need the fitting kit from Mike R and the sender unit modding a bit.

Is the 023 not overkill for mine , only stage 3 not intending going further ?

It is filter possition that is diff thats all,
I would put a DW pump in there and have seen 575hp on one and is as quite as a walbro.

as long as its supplying enough fuel and enough pressure.....which it will then why not use it....just incase you might want a bit more.

Need to check to be sure but around £120+vat sounds right.

Have you tried the Aeromotive Stealth 340? Certainly looks good:

They are meant to slightly out flow the DW pump, I have used a couple with no problems.
