    i have had every transit from a mk2 onwards......proper vans .

      I knew you'd appreciat that link

      Our dad had a recovery truck that was pre-transit, think it was called a 'custom' or similar, powered by an unreliable straight 6 so they took that out and dropped a 3.5 rover v8 in instead.

      You can just see it in the top right of this pic:

        that Windsor timber photo on the link must have been where my van driver learned to drive, hes turned a good 07 plate transit into one thats worse than the one in the photo

                My dad had a recovery truck when i did my apprenticeship it would never start without being towed or lots the magic spray so noisy and slow:-( can't remember if it was A or D series
