It's a bit tricky to do the on-road mapping with a gearbox that won't shift up...

Regarding the starting, if the car has been left for a long period and the battery voltage drops below 11, the T6 ECU won't allow the car to start. I have the same issues with mine if it has been left unused for any long periods and it just needs to be kept on a trickle charger - no big deal (despite Wenny trying to make it into one ).

Just check the voltage on the Pectel monitor or Stack. If it drops below 11, you'll need to jump start it .

Nordschleife, there's only two barriers to worry about - the ones on the left and the ones on the right .

It started when he collected it but wouldn't 4 hours later.
The cold start hasn't been done as far as I'm aware.

                  Fair enough.

Why has Gaz taken the car back then when it's not finished.

The box is on order isn't it, then SCS fit it and then finished the car.

Don't know all the facts so don't shoot me down.

                  Dave.

The dyno is only used for the full load mapping, you then need to do ALL the part throttle map in the car (unless there is an identical spec engine that has already had this done, that you can use), along with full load checking in the car as well.

This was all done on the way to and from Bruntingthorpe in my car .

Regarding the cold starting, you only get the opportunity to do it a couple of times a day. However, I have no idea on the time scales regarding this being done compared to Gaz getting it back?

I believe he wanted to just put it away and sort another gearbox out, so just collected it prior to this happening. I "think" he is now getting the original item fixed though .

No one ever speaks up, the amount of people who have had problems with MSD is crazy. Infact I think it's only you, Ginge, and Blacky who rates them
