  • Morette side light

Fitting my new morette today but the side light on the new sidelights has no wire to it to power it up . Should it have wires to it (the sidelight) or do you have to make your own wiring for the side lights . Oh don't they fit shite

You just unplug your original sidelight plugs from the standard sidelights as these aren't used anymore and then plug them into the Morettes. That's the theory anyway. Mine fit really well, although I did replace all the mounting bolts etc.

As the said the side lights are built in to the morettes so that's why some people paint the side lights, and fitment I think some fit better than others.

i did this to mine all 3 lights (side, dipped and main beam) are all in the one light. The outer one, just got to colour code the side lights now and its finished, also remover the inner lights and put bass speaker cones in for more airflow to engine compartment.

I've fitted them but when the side light is on the the headlight comes on that's not right is it . I've connected red to battery and blue or grey to earth on the coil we were sussposed to be at croft today but didn't get done in time

I'd unwire that quick mate especially to the coil !! Just unplug the original side lamp and connect the two wires to the side light bulb in the base of the morette lamp, it won't just plug straight on you might have to modify the two wires.

this is what it says to do
plug brown wire on the fixation of the coil
connect the connectors with the original ones
pass the red and brown wires towards the battery and plug the red one + and brown one on -
the only brown wire i have was connected to one connection on the side light theres a grey wire with a earth terminal on also should the yellow wire be scotch locked onto the blue wire like in the pic or should it be onto the yellow one fuck me surely its not this fucking complicated
