Before you change it mate you'll need a stapler (industrial type) to refit it back into the console.

    1. Remove centre console
    2. Un-staple old gaiter from console
    3. Fit new gaiter and trim as necessary
    4. Refit console

    Scouse.

      Its pretty easy:-

All you need to do is a couple clips down side of consul each side in footwells, and remove radio and CD player and you will see couple screws then remove the electric windows and boot button and should be couple in there.

Pop or screw off the knob, suit u sir! and then whole thing will come off!

looking inside you will see a plastic sleeve with shit loads staples in pop that out and then the gator will probably disintigrate as you pull it! (they are load shite) remove all old staples and snip cable tie from round top.

then put new one in- try not make it 2 baggy but have enough material there to get it in 2nd and 4th.

u can set it and keep trying it as u go.

place plastic sleeve on inside- ensure that its how u want it and staple away- bang plenty in and use heavy duty staple gun! also bang in a new cable tie around top of gator.

put it all back 2 geva!

      dead easy!

Get a welding rod and bend it into a "U" shape and make two of them!!

Did mine about 8months ago and looks great. Quite easy to do. Once you have the console off.

It is quite easy to get the gaiter too tight though, so just be a bit careful. Especially if it's an aftermarket one, because they don't give you much spare to play with.
                        Cheers

                            Quick question:
Once I pop the clips off the centre console are the good enough to reuse or would I need new ones?

Just want to be ready before I start

The clips from the side of the console can be reused if you want.
