  • went to registras meeting today and!!!!!

well peeps at the moment it looks like its me or dunc cus no one else turned up or showed an interest however the position will be advertised in the rallye news

now then i must ask a question

those of you who arnt rsoc members would you re join and those who havnt got their car registered would you do so

these are important to the rsoc as we want members to come back
we all love this site and im not asking anyone to swap sites [im not sure if thats the right terminology] just to be a rsoc member as well i know it costs 35 quid to join but i think its gonna be good value once me or dunc OR BOTH take on the registras role as its gonna get exciting and things WILL BE MOVING FORWARD

so please give your support cus we need you and you will benifit the rewards trust me please

i wouldnt ask this on here but its OBVIOUS anyone who it affects uses this fantastic site [thanks to paul etc]

so please dont take offence but im probably jumping the gun but getting things going for the new reg WHOEVER IT WILL BE

    BEST REGARDS
MARK BARBER [just so you know my name ]
    CENTRAL RSOC VICE CHAIRMAN

Mark, I think both of you in the job is the best option, your are both great guys, and both know so much about the cars.

I am already a member and do use the RSOC bored, but I must admit, this site is the one I check first as its just for us Escort RS Cosworth owners

I will register mine with whoever gets the job immediatly. If Phil was still doing the role I wouldnt bother.

Good luck to the both of you.

mate i have got a lot of respect for you, your helpfull to the max, your cossie is mint and your enthusiastic, but i got well pissed off when they changed my status from member to user and removed my sig, i joined in 87 when i was still at school i have my number still on their system and my address still, they wanted me to have a new member number to rejoin and i don't agree.
i won't join up and won't spend 35 quid on it, i don't even go on there anymore, i feel like i don't matter and tbh this place is better

best of luck because you could do a grand job

its £35 per year or £80 for 3 years.

Mark i use the RSOC site aswell, maybe not as much as here as i have an obligation to be here and its my passion to do so.
but i do own 2 RS's so i am trying to keep as strong an involvement within the RSOC that i can.

ill gladly support whovever the Registrar comes to be, wether it be in a Caretakers role or to fully hold the position.

Yes i will look at having my Escort registered once its on the road, and yes i am a paid up RSOC member

I was amember a few years ago when I had my series 1, it was all a bit 'matey-matey' for me. But, if either or both of you are succesfull I will rejoin to show my support to the future of the marque. After all what's £35 when you own a cossie?

i am an rsoc member already and im on the rsco bb(even though my status says user not member),but i tend not to chat too much as its a bit slow for me.and ive not intergrated yet.

i will support either you or dunc in the role.as imo you are both more than capable and decent fellas.(i have no bias to either of you)

Mark, think i register on the site when i bought my ecos back in April of last yr. When i looked around the site i did'nt find too much info that was relevant to me. I joined on here and was 99% more helpful and useful to me with the ecos. So i never became a full member paying the 35 for membership, due to the fact of spending money and not actually using it. So now im based on here

The only thing i think i did miss was the National day at Donny as its not far from me and would of gone if i had the option. To me this has been home since buying the ecos with finding information and speaking to a few people. Even met a couple of you guys but prob don't remember. I tend to keep myself quiet and to myself tbh, was away for a while when the site was under new construction but now am back. Keep up the good work on here guys.

I may even go onto the RSOC if the Ecos side of things is run better. I found it a bit of a maze also without a lot of things, like meets , events etc.

Just my view, good luck to you and i hope you can make a success of it .
