      alright dude.

im just about to start a small powdercoating company mainly doing vehicle parts with odd wheels.

if in a month or so after i practise on a few sets iv got floating about. Id more than happy powder coat them for cost of powder.

wont be able to fit in current blast cabinet as only takes 16" wheels.

but if you got them checked for cracks/blasted, stripped. I could coat them for you.

      Ash.

Thanks for that mate and i'll keep you in mind. Only problem would be the cost of moving the wheels around the country from me to them to you to me (sound like a chuckle brother) and also i want them in diamond white so i think they will have to be painted and not powdercoated. Will weigh things up when i have a few pence saved up.

thiknk pasiley frieght will do £25 for a set of 4.

theres hundreds of colours. dunno about getting exact diamond white. but will be a colour very close if not identical.

I could do with the experiance and save you abit of cash. could prob sand them down for you. just as you said dont want to coat them to find out one cracks week after! so best to get them checked.

          Ash.

Your mate was lucky, he proper fucked mine up, twice!

I here are some pics of his 'handy work'

              First refurb:-

Looks nice? doesn't hold air thou

Quailty of his repair.. yes the wheel was actually sent back to me like this

I then replaced this wheel and had the load refurbed by him again to silver, not bad little bit on the rough side thou

Then after a couple of days use they start getting the lurgy

              Soon spreads and gets worst

Oh and whats this.. another wheel springs a leak..

Then sent them to Pristine in Milton Keynes, the finish was soooo much better

How much did u paid for refurbishing your wheels at pristine mate? How long did it take?
                      Cheers

The reason why asking, i come from germany and joining ford fair this year again, also have a set of 19" Cromodora Wheels to refurbish. If price and waiting time is acceptable, i will carry them with me to Pristine, because our hotel is located at Milton Keynes
                      Thanks in advance mate

                      Bernd

Thanks Ben. Thats what this site is all about. How many people would travel all the way upto Barnsley from Milton Keynes with a set of wheels. Can you get the bill for me too please.

Just a thought but it seems to be the monties that have had the problems with cracking. Is it possible the speedlines are a better quality or are they all just sh!t. Does anyone know of the speedlines cracking.

Would it be better to run tubes in the wheels for safety.
