Who understands Maths (serious question) HELP TREV!
Who understands Maths (serious question) HELP TREV!
Is there anyone out there that can help me understand equations? They are pretty basic i'm sure but cant quite get the hang of them. If anyone says they can i'll post up the equation that is giving me problems. Thanks in advance.
HELP, i don't understand it. Although i know the answer, it's in the back of the book lol, but the workings aren't included so i don't really know how to get the answer and the workings are as important as the final answer.
So you are saying that the answers aren't 16t minus (as in subtract) v. It's just simplified down to show the individual values of t and v? Does that make sense?

Oh no, it is subtract, but it's just taking what you've got and making it into a simpler equation, i.e. where you've got more than one part using the same letters etc trying to bring those together so you don't have them more times than you need to.

Actually my workings are displayed slightly wrong, give me a sec.
That does make more sense. As said, the answers are in the back, but not the workings and i need to see workings to understand where i'm going wrong. The examples were pretty basic as well. Thanks very much. I'm sure there will be worse to come but i'll know where to come when i get stuck.
