I phone 4s or Samsung Galaxy S3

which would you go for? i know alot of people with the 4s but good few have had problems wit speakers etc, what are the Galaxy S3's like as my current fone is Android..

Apparently S3's are brilliant, but I went with a 4s. Apparently the iPhone 5 is out in a month or two so I would wait for that

IMO, it's tough one, and I do believe that it is what you get used to. I rave about my 4s, yet my other half raves over his s2 - whichever you choose you will end up being happy with.

I personally think the iPhone feels a lot more substantial (just a bit weightier) and i think the smoothness of the screen response is better - just feels higher quality .

However, Samsung are getting superb write-ups and having a good go at over taking apple (if they haven't already ), I also think you might get a bit more for your money (I do wonder if the s3 is a tad on the big side, it does make the display nice and bold though).

Like I said though, I dont think I will be moving from iPhone just yet

the specs on the samsung s3 are impressive i'd probably lean towards that myself,i wont have another iphone again they're over rated imo ive got the htc one x and its superb

from what mymate said who works at car phone warehouse the s3 is miles better than the iphone 4s, and said he very much doubt the iphone 5 is going to top the samsung so will have to see when it does come out, as im upgrading october so at least i can see what the 5 is like compared to the s3

Yea I have been reading up on spec of galaxy S3 and it out does 4s big time BUT im tempted to wait on the new phone 5

I buy stuff magazine for airport reading and the s3 has knocked the 4s off the top spot for the first time in a long time. The htc one x is in second place, I've just bought a one x and first impressions are awesome

Plus the next iphone has a different charger so everything you've got for the old iphone/ipods will be redundant

Yes thats wat im thinking as the man ( god rest steve jobs) who made apple who they are now but with out him there are not gona keep up I reckon, so im heading towards the new S3

I have a S2 for my work phone and it is good, was not keen on the android setup but with the size of the screen on the S2 it makes sense. My personal phone is a Windows 7 phone, very good, very reliable and lots of the apps from the iphone and android built into the phone itself. Works very well with the internet and email. The touch screen is faultless (HTC Mozart handset) but I have had issues with the speaker in the earpiece not working.

I refuse to pay iPhone tax myself, my Mrs has a 4 and my Windows 7 phone is head and shoulders above it. The camera is a country mile better and its much quicker.

A mate has a 4s and in the sticks where we are, your better off with the 4 as the features on the S do not work.

These phones are all about the apps now, android and iPhone apps are miles better than windows 7 and this is why I will be going to a android in the future.

I agree, it will be but you will pay a premium for it, which I dont think is worth it. On average they say you pay £10 a month extra just for an iPhone, also know as iPhone tax. You can get much better deals on calls/text/internet on other handsets.
