standard alarm HELP.....

where to start!
went to work last week in the escort battery sounded a little flat but it started, got to work OK and home again.
went to it sunday it was flat,so put it on charge.
put the battery on tonight and the alarm horn has started to sound all the time when unlocked. when you lock it the the horn sounds once.
I have never heard this before only the toad alarm that locks the doors.
if i pull the l 3amp fuse out the horn will stop and it will start OK .
,but the little red light near the clock flashes like made...
any help would be grateful

have you locked it with a key recently and now started unlocking by a remote fob?

yes i did the other day , i was looking for my spare keys and tryed the wrong ones

cracked it ,locked and unlocked it a couple of times with the key and it s sorted it.....

Yep, the Ford alarm/immobilisers can be finicky at times. I even have to try the passenger door to set the alarm. They are good when they work!
