Decent 1 day car insurance policy?

Guy bit of an SOS
Want to pick the new car up but no one will cover me for 1 day due to the car being group 20.
Anyone else tried this as Escos must be group 20?
I only want to drive it from the dealer to my house (30mins).
The dealer said I would be covered on their insurance and just say I was on a 12 hour test drive but I don't trust that in the event of an accident and my name being on the logbook!.
I'm with Liverpool Victoria for the 530d tried them and they said yes to the car but no because I was 29.
Last resort i think is use lv but put my dad on the policy.

Can you not run a HPI check and use there insurance for one month? I would double check with it being a M5 but I know they offer this.

All home safe, it sounds the nuts, love it already and averaged 25mpg on a roads!

It's chucking it down mate! And I've never felt confident in rwd cars, prefer fwd to be honest as I always know where Iam with it.
