Not sure years ago i bought the focus rs prop car from M sport was a exact replica that was used in the motorshow for the launch , it had fiberglass wings , quarters etc really well done windows were blacked out , when you looked in you could just make out the headrests , but when the door was opened it was a big wooden frame with fake seats shaped like the sparco seats , it had no engine pretty well done we used the shell to make a focus cosworth , andrew also bought the martini replica that was used in the motorshow it was a telephonica car

Apart from the obvious body work issues, it looks like that engine might have stood a very long time with no hoses, lack/small ammount of residual coolant/corrosion inhibitor so god knows what the inside of the head is like or the coolant galleries in the block.
Valve stem oil seals probably rock hard.
            Valve stems dry and tight.
            Rings....perhaps stuck??
            Injectors dry and corroded??
No turbo oil drain , so God knows what crap is in the sump.
Front diff depending which d/shaft was removed, will have been open the the outside.
            List gos on

Will be quite an expensive resto for some one so i would imagine the value as it is now is not all that good
Real shame a car like that gets to stand for so long.

Although could be a nice car if it sold for sub 6k

Hey good point and it sort of says in the add never used on the road but has 33k miles Bit confusing that as that's a lot of off road show miles.
It does say 2 owners though, but would that show on any log book or just hear say
An un registered ESCOS ( ever) could it be worth any more

It's an early shell (90) so that's gotta be worth something, the rest of it looks fit for the bin though

Why would it have a st engine in a 1990 car

What are the 2 lumps of cast iron sticking out each side of the rear wheel hubs......look like bits of cut up exhaust manifold
I know its been a while since i had one, but WTF are they.

                              i like this part
"I have since bought the car and intented to restore it to its former glory and show it. However not being a massive Ford fanatic Id rather something this special go to a good home where it will get what attention it deserves"

really means,i thought id buy this and make a killing but now realise its a shed
