Saw this parked outside a VW dealership in Newquay today, fair play to the owner, i've heard a few stories lately about VW customer service being non existent !!

Heard some bad stories about the new transporters, mate of mine has a new shape sportline nearly 2 years old and had 3 driveshafts 1 x dual mass flywheel 1 x gearbox and 1 x turbo

Fookin vans seem to be made from shit nowadays

hate to say this but modern vans are a pile of shit,they are no way near as good as the stuff from the 80's and 90's for reliability, everyone wants cleaner running vehicles and the shite they have to do that is just that ............shite

dual mass,dpf,injectors,pumps,slave cylinders in gearboxes what a pile of shite.......best buy a old van if you want reliable

We had a T5 with 11,000 miles on the clock, box had to be rebuilt. Clutch is shit in them too. Good old transit or sprinter is what you need

Tell me Karl, got a 58 plate vivaro sportive for the lads that work for me and just had a huge bill for new injector that snapped off due to it corroding in there, nearly had to have a new engine for it as that seems to be a cheaper option all for a injector

last three vivaros i have owned had transmission fuck ups,one the clutch pedal went bang to the floor at hartshead moor services when i was bringing it back from york,the other went and shit itself on a test drive and had been perfect until some git jumped in for a razz down the road,the other one had a brand new box and clutch etc before i bought it but the bloke who i got it off slagged the transmission off somthing silly and wanted rid of it and got a kangoo off me.

trafics primastars and vivaros look good because they don't rust but fook me they suffer from dodgy electric bits and bobs and wank boxes

i regularly see vw's well when i say see what i mean is hear vw's with wank boxes screeching through the block

honest the best commercials out there are toyotas and they cost a fookin packet but if you want reliability toyotas are about the strongest at the mo

was so close to trading my 05 vito in far one of theses few years ago so glad i didnt as the ones my friends have are scrap, since then ive relised that the 05 model vito's are excellent can get a bit rusty though but apart from that can not fault them and i have driven the shit out of it too,

as for VW not a fan of any of them cars included way over rated, and give a lot of trouble

i see 3 year old merc vans rusting Hughy,i have seen loads of 05,s covered in rust,so many mercs are not fit for te badge due to corrosion at a early age i would not buy a late one for strong money for a business knowing its gonna look like shit soon

Feel for the customer but there is no point taking it out on the dealer they dont make the cars and if vw are not taking anything to do with it the dealer cant do much either they cant manufacture a fix , they really want to contact watchdog and get directly to vw themselfs ,
