    hi all,

Bit of a long shot but said id ask and hope somebody might be able to help.

Bought a 2011 fiesta in the uk earlier this year, can with only one key and am after loosing the key. tried to get key number from local ford dealer but they cant get it. they also tried uk dealer so they said but said there is no key number coming up for the car. Could this be possible??

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Sorry its not cosworth related.

In the Norwegian service book, we have one site that sellers, write in some data from car, there is keycode one of them. Either you can have a look for a small black plastic thing. who are on keys when cars are new, keycode stands on them

take the lock out and if its the old style key as tbh i know what transits are like but don't touch fiestas that age you can strip the lock and get the key number, then buy a key cut to that number.....easyish if you know what your doing but really the supplying dealer should have the info if you dig.

think i better leave the locksmith do it, i have the service booklet but there are no details at all written in it so the dealer obviously didnt fill it out, even the PDI section is blank. Oh well, it was worth a shot. thanks for the suggestions
