If you type the reg into a car check site it only comes up as an Escort

I done a check on this car for my mate it came up as a escort , i pm,d the owner and asked if it said cosworth on the log book he said no and he hadn't noticed this before he said it was a admin error on dvla,s behalf and would be sorted out then the advert was pulled I hope it is ok and was a error

the car above is a 93 model registered in 94 and has a engine size listed on the log book as a 2000cc,now that if your in the car game rings bells,1st it could of been imported,2nd by someone who filled the v5 in quick probably in the vro que and stuck anything down as its not a 2000cc.
its a fact that registering rs's even when as genuine as they come the dvla fuck up what it says on the v5 compared to other rs's that were never imported.
if it is a genuine rs never been fucked around with just contact the dvla and get it changed and use another rs as reference to show what it should say,believe it or not i have given the details of another car to show the dvla worker i'm right and they have not got a fookin clue .

A Friend of a friend went to view and travelled along way and IIRC it was more something with the floor numbers as Max said?? Cant quite remember fully, im sure who ever it was may post on here.

Im sure he was made to remove the ad because of the ID to save other members but as i say im sure someone will confirm more, as im just going off whats been said

I know joe I wouldn't have piped up if max didn't but at the same time the owner will be just as gutted no matter how he finds out ! Like I say the owner said it was a admin error but I also heard that the numbers didn't look good either , apart from tht the car is meant to be absolutely stunning
