Got a few questions I've stumbled across as I'm rebuilding the escort.
I've got group A front drive shafts, where can I buy spares for these? I need a outer cage and spider ( I think its called that, looks like a star?)
I also need the cv boots for them as one is split and I'm putting everything new on anyway. I've never seen ones like this though the rubber is crimped onto the steel cover that goes over the cv joint. thats all one piece.
Next question is about the flywheel. I need to convert to a twin plate clutch so was going to modify my fly wheel. But I fancy shaving a few kg's off to make it a bit more responsive, now am I right in thinking that a 2wd fly wheel was lighter? Might be a better modding a 2wd to start with.
Wheres the best place to buy rose joints for the steering rack?
And lastly has anyone run these top mounts? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2610980531...#ht_838wt_1271 Ive got them ones but cant get them to fit with powerflex bushes or standard ones, they just dont seem to fit right
