Fast Ford - Santa Pod

Well It was great to see fast ford putting a little something in there mag about the pod and the fact they are setting up some trophies for fastest cars!

I could not believe my eyes when i saw the picture they used though LOL - its me and monte in our first ever run up the Santa pod . . . oh and Cossiecrazy in his Focus (He was looking after me - he also won the race - he wont this year LOL)

Do you not have to wear a crash helmet to go up the strip ? I've seen quarters run before at North Weald etc but never at the Pod,are their rules different ?

I dont think you have to ... its only if your going to do crazy top speeds...

as for losing.. well it was my first time and watching Mark wheel spin like a nutter was so funny I did not get a good start myself... did get up to 101mph and catch him toward the end

it was then i bought it as i was useing it more than him anyway lol

was i built it and sold it after usuing it most of last year, blacky who helped me, bought it and has just sold it, the guy who bought it is tidying it up a bit, spoil the look a bit i think
