  • Thanks escosgaz & BIG AL

I'm just about thinking straight now.. travelled up to Gaz to put the Splitty's running gear on, left at 5:45am finished in the workshop 20:30pm then back home again (4 and half hours each way) was fooking knackered

Gaz has done a great job on the van so far and both Gaz and Big Al helped me put the running gear on which was basically the rear axle, gearbox, drums and I had to get my protractor out to set up the rear spring plates

Front end was the beam which big al bench pressed up whilst me and gaz put the bolts in then had to set up the play in the spindles with shims and grease and install the bearing and fitted it all up all the steering components

Then it was time to put it down on four wheels again after being on dollys for so long

Will up date the thread with the rest of the pics

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to the boys, if you need a bodyshop Gaz is your man
