  • Dash GPS and ICE in one

Been thinking of fitting a combined radio/cd/bluetooth/gps etc etc module in the centre console like my 911 had. Any one know whats a good fit in the ESCOS.
I realise the console will need to be cut but that's progress.

The new alpine w910r is one of the best double dons out at the moment. And it has everything including sat nav and Bluetooth

Think this is what I'm got g to get next year. It's around £800

            Hi Frank,
            I got mine through Keith Stockley at K & M Accoustics - 01942 820 174 .

He's an Escort Cosworth owner and sometimes posts on here (I haven't seen him for a while though) - give him a call, I'm sure he will look after you .

Right just got off the phone with Keith.
What a nice fella. We spent 10 minutes talking about the Alpine unit and a further 50 minutes talking about Cosworths.
He wished to be remembered to you Mike and also Harvey/ Jim. and Paul.L.
Hes a wealth of info about ESCOS and he still has his 2.3ltr long stroke SCS monster.
I had a very helpful chat with him and learned the answer to a lot of things that were bothering me.
If only every one in life was so forth coming and nice to speak too
thanks for the contact details, it was a catalyst for other stuff. Tall about Karma.

He's very good at what he does frank!

Fitted my alarm and its been trouble free for 2 1/2 years which is rare for a clifford (ie he fitted it properly unlike some cowboys in the industry).

I'm sure Keith said it can be done by removing the plastic bar without damage. He has the adaption plates to allow the unit to fit in the already hole perfectly
Its an option though, can I let you know later when I know more.

The center bar is easily removed, there is two screws that hold this bar in position from the back of the console so no cutting to the center console is required!

Keith fitted my double din headunit to my escort cos but i have since removed it and gone back to standard fitment. I have my reasons for this but i will never use him again.
