  • New daily. What to get?

Going to get a new daily driver soon but not decided on what to go for, I'm thinking of the below:

    Mk 5 Golf R32
    Mk 4 Golf R32
    Mk5 Golf GTI
    Audi S3

Mk1 Focus RS I like but absolutely detest the interior.

I'm kinda thinking a golf lol,had about 8 Golfs now and love them.

Mondeo ST TDCi mate, brilliant car. Torquey but very economical and with all the kit. I've done 100,000 miles in mine now and it's been fab. Saw it in a shop window as I was driving around today and it still looks cool!
    Cheers

Out of the list above I would go for the Golf gti, great all rounder. R32 look and sound great but I am always disappointed by them when I drive one.

        53 Focus RS
        05 Mondeo ST TDCI

I am swaying towards a GTI but it must have full leather as I think the tartan cloth is awful

You won't regret it mate. It makes the Cossie feel like a dinosaur. They handle really well for a big lump as well, and I get as near as makes no difference 50mpg out of it, although mine is nearly all motorway miles. Even though mine now has 113,000 on the clock I'm keeping it for a good while yet. I got it before it had had it's first MOT and it's never failed one yet.
                  Cheers

I would try one mate, I think you'll be very pleasantly surprised. The only issue I've ever had is with the crappy quality of finish on the wheels.

Gti for me. Always found r 32 s very unstable on the road.
                        Thanks Mark.

I'd get the GTI. R32's are far more expensive to run, and yet don't seem that much faster or more special.
