I dont get that bit, Looks like they use olives so that means they need replacing every time you want to change the pipe whereas the cutter ones can be used time and time again. But the cutter ones are horrible to do

Pretty much like a swagelok fitting, i think its more like once made off then if slackened it can be nipped back up no problem, but i dont think they can be totally removed and remade on another section of hose

The cutter type can be used time and time again as far as I am aware And the teflon one must use a olive like when doing braided brake lines so the olives need replacing.
