Is at at main steelers or an indipendant ? And what actully have you had done ? The reason I ask is we would do a full hit on service all filters etc brake fluid swap for around the £200 mark !

i have a merc sprinter van for work i have had it from new , i find it not bad for serviceing costs , the van is almost 5 years old now and 136000 miles , i have just had 2 brakedowns this year for the first time, fuel sender unit went in the tank for one brake down between recovery cost and hire van it cost 600 pounds for parts and labour ect , this was from a mec agent , the other was a throttle valve again recovery cost and hire van parts and labour it was 500 odd .

as for my wifes vw passat, we have a small local garage does any repairs , not that we have to many , along with serviceing , hes very easy paid .

              thanks steven

2250 Euro for my Audi 250000 km service last year.

Engine out, gearbox out, sump gaskets renewed, all belts, pumps, cam covers, plugs, almost everything replaced.

and that price included a friend and myself re-installing the engine and box.

AND to pass the swiss mfk (mot) I had to replace perfectly good brake disks and polish the headlight glass. Then a good underbody wash for £100 or they wouldn't even inspect the car.
