Cheers for the info guys, this is going to be my fun useable car, still want it spot on though so i want someone with a real eye for detail.
I do a little paintwork, and restorations myself, but dont do paintwork or correction on my own cars.

Theres plenty of good feedback around on kds, and the website is very interesting.
Its a bit of a drive, but I'll certainly take me car up there for an inspection, hopefully within the next month or two, so see what happens, I'll let you know how it goes.

Actually visited kds and booked my car in for correction this week just gone, I went and picked it up today, rubbish day for it, but the cars back now..

I ended up having their silver correction package plus a little wet sanding on a corner of a rear bumper that wasn't too good, the paint is all original, it just had wash marks, some marring and plenty if swirls from bad washing techniques from the previous owner.

The results are fantastic, pics really wouldnt do the finish justice even if i could post them up.
All swirls and marring are gone, and the paintwork now looks like i thought it could in the right hands, had some crystall rock wax put on it as well.

I've no hesitation recommending kds whatsoever, very helpfull, friendly, and have a real eye for detail.

I'm training down there in the 28th April and going to an open day there in the 7th April.

Seen some really impressive work come out of there.

Ford paint is usually reasonable to correct but then every cars different anyway.

Glad your pleased buddy! Feels so good driving a properly clean car :thumb:

Just keep that Crystal Rock topped up ;?

Yeah well pleased, it wasn't my escort that went, its a Renault RS, and the paint was very hard, like BMW's so im told, they spent an entire week on it.

The crystall rock was something I hadn't planned, but my dads mk2frs had it on when his was detailed a while back and it seemed to last for ages, I got told it can last up to 9 months without topping up!.

Might look into some of the training myself, its a fair drive for me, but it is interesting, I could get quite hooked I think. Got some new products to try on the escort in the summer too!..

Crystal rock is an awesome wax! Not cheap though. Thinking that'll be product of choice for this summer for me but not decided yet.

Yeah hard paint. Normally Du-Pont paints on French cars, pain in the arse to correct but so easy to mark.

Loving it mate. Far from pro. But really enjoy it, the differences that can be made by being thorough and paying attention to the smaller 'details' are phenomenal. Can't wait for the training!

You can bring them here if you want lol!

Prob is the last car I seem to do is my own. It's in dia need of some attention.
