Nope, not selling, but if I did I think I'd just put up the money and a couple of grand, the wife could put up her half and we could pay the mortgage off. That's my next big thing.
    Cheers

I would be lying if I said I don't ever think about selling mine and buying something like a MK2 Focus RS to enjoy every single day instead of 20 days a year........ But every time I go into my garage I just don't think it would be the best decision, the escos is my dream car and if I hold out then maybe I can have both in a couple of years

Yea it is a lot of money for sure, but why have he money in the bank? You only live once Broome mate.
I have noticed over this past few years that every time I have a bit of money in the bank something happens that I need to spend it on that I don't want to spend it on, that's why these days I spend it as soon as I earn it lol.

PS my wife wants a performance blue focus with black wheels

Ive always said these cars are great but there by no means God status. I cant understand why some owners say they would like a car they can drive every day......well the ESCOS is just that. Its what we did before the Focus Rs's etc came on the scene.
I think part of the love hate relationship with these cars is self inflicted....no one seems to want to drive them anymore. I can understand to a point the "it will loose value" argument, but so will any other car.

My advice always has and always will be just drive it and enjoy it. Put right what goes wrong and repair any cosmetic damage when it needs it. After all its not an RS500 or RS200 which were limited in numbers.

There should be a new years mantra on here.

I wish I had never sold my 2 IMO its much better to have 20k in the garage than in the bank......she can't spend it when it's in the garage

Any info on the 96 plate on rsoc, I can't see the add, I'm not a paid up member!! On that note I have a focus rs 500 (I know it's a Volvo) but I really want what you all have, I can prob buy a Porsche, r8 etc etc but is rather have two rs's in the garage that prob won't lose too much money and sell easier if I need too!

ok my new goal is... escort cosworth = sunday show car re live the 90,s
rs focus mk2 = everyday car givin it the beans on payday
vw t5 kombi = for work/ family days out with bikes, fishing etc

                        1st one ive got
2nd one i cant buy without selling the 1st one
3rd one i can buy if i sell my van & bmw

so 2 out of 3 aint bad i suppose... i waited 20 years for my cosworth so im not wanting to wait 20 years for a focus, if i do wait 20 years the rs hover car will be out & ill want that instead..
its never ending!... i feel like a hamster in a wheel some days & ill never get off..

still got it geezer & its a lovely car but im insuring a van, a car & a cosworth.... the cosworth doesnt get used till april, the bmw sits on the drive all week as we only use it at weekends so i thought a t5 with 6 seats would cut out an everyday car as i can use it for work everyday & family at the weekends...... to be fair ive got a car disese & want a car for every occasion!
