Did the gtx3071r turn out to be a good turbo?

Was it much better than the normal gt30? Are they reliable turbo?

While we're on the subject of turbos for 500 - 600 bhp what turbo can do both as that's the power figure I want this year

They're not quite that bad they have a whisp of surge from 4-5500 limiting around 28/29 psi being borderline surge on a 25mm ported head with 16/14 cams

Other than that you may aswell run the 3076 as lag is similar and power output also. However the gt3076 does not suffer from surge
