2 adults, 2 kids & a dog.. so what is the perfect family car?

As title says, is there a perfect family car for 2 adults, 2 cheeky kids & a dog, a car not too exspencive to run, a car thats easy to put bikes on & park, a car that does not get stuck in the snow, a car that has plenty of room for people & there luggage.. any sugestions..

I have just got a new Mitsubushi Barberian for the dogs to go in

Dogs go in the back and keep the front clean and no smell of dogs
Good in snow
Kids in the back
All mod cons
Leather
Air con
176 bhp
bounce up curbs etc
Can park anywhere with reverse camera

Not as good as our Range Rover but dogs do not small it out as they do if they go in that.

we bought a golf plus before we had junior number one, we now have two kids, no dog though sadly, i reckon its spot on, splashed out on a thule roof box for the holidays, cant fault it at all - had it nearly 6 years now

I bought a seat alhambra 7 seater, you may laugh as it was a hard to say no

Its a 2001 x reg, 2.0 petrol, 6 speed, 101k, genuine roof bars and fuck off thule roof box for £1200, best part is I know the 1 previous owner very well as he owns the garage that do all the work on my cars. The car inside and outside was nothing like a car with that mileage, but then he is very fussy and its never wanted for anything

The 5 rear seats come out and its like a van, only need to take the side pods and rear tyres off the kart for that to roll in there

Wife and two kids but no dogs and I have a focus Mk2 estate, good car cheap to buy and run and if they do break parts are cheap.

plus you can mod it with RS Bits

lol Brendan, great bus and comes in really handy, I've just stuck a tow bar on it as well. Its only downside really it is slightly thirsty but most are round here with all these roundabouts
